TUPAC SHAKUR’S STORY

WALT: Write 100 words in 10 minutes

Kia ora my name is Hayden today I will be talking about my favourite rapper Tupac Shakur. The reason why Tupac is my favourite rapper is because he was the first ever rapper that I’ve listened to.  My most favourite songs from him were Hit em up, California Love, All eyez on me and Hail Mary. He talks about his life story and about how he was raised and grown up as a young kid. He started to make raps about his life when he was 12-13 years old. On 13 September, 1996 he was at one of his Studios coming down the stairs when he turned the corner and got shot 7 times.
I watched a documentary about Tupac’s story and my favourite part was when he went to Death row records and he was working in a studio with Snoop Dog and Dr. Dre.  They made the song California Love.

Natural Wonders Around the World

WALT: read the text and find interesting facts

Australia's Natural Wonder: The Great Barrier Reef

I learned that the Great Barrier Reef, is the world’s largest coral reef system. I also learned that it covers over 2300 kilometers, reaching from shallow areas to deep ocean waters. It is so big that it can be seen from outer space! This is bad for the health of the reef and its plants and animals. People are working hard to protect the Great Barrier Reef and the species that live there.
